Booker Auction Co. is offering a collection of vintage and collectible items on behalf of the Palouse Empire Fair Foundation. These pieces are being made available to the public as part of an effort to preserve the history and legacy of the historic Elberton General Store. After the store closed in the 1970s, the remaining inventory and store contents were stored at the fairgrounds, where they have remained for decades.
The Palouse Empire Fair Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and helping improve the Palouse Empire Fairgrounds. Proceeds help fund infrastructure improvements, facility maintenance, operating expenses, and other enhancements that allow the fairgrounds to continue providing quality spaces and services for the community.
