Rebecca and Joe Gunselman founded Robert Karl Cellars in 1999, starting with homemade wine in their garage before opening their winery in a historic Spokane fire station. Over the past 25 years they helped pioneer the Spokane wine scene, producing award-winning wines and earning national recognition while building strong vineyard partnerships across Washington. Their Claret and Cabernet programs became standouts as Spokane grew into a gateway to Washington wine country. Now, as they step into a well-deserved retirement, it’s an honor to help Rebecca and Joe transition their quality winemaking equipment to the next generation of winemakers.
